Following a loss to independent wrestling legend Matt Cross, the ‘King of Mods’ sent shockwaves across RIPTIDE when he headbutted his hero, showcasing a meaner side than many British wrestling fans were at that point used to seeing from him.

Webster went on to explain that his nefarious actions were due to a longstanding tradition of Mods causing a disturbance in Brighton. Even in scorching hot summer weather, Flash can be seen wearing a huge bomber jacket and scooter helmet, paying homage to the 60s subculture.

His helmet, of course, was put to good use, knocking out David Starr and Lion Kid respectively. However, after attacking Charlie Morgan and stealing her spot in the RIPTIDE Rumble, Webster got his commuppence via a returning Morgan, who later went on to defeat him in a Brighton Championship Tournament qualifier.

We last saw Flash in a star-studded Number One contenders scramble match at Black Water 2018, but TK Cooper claimed victory over his five opponents in this encounter.
