The man known as ‘The Pansexual Phenomenon’ has been the heart and soul of RIPTIDE since the company’s genesis in July 2017.

Hailing from Soho but with a natural affinity for the Brighton’s liberating, cosmopolitan atmosphere, Jack Sexsmith felt destined to become the first Brighton Champion.

Jack’s dreams were shattered at International Waters after a sabotage from his longtime rivals Money vs Everybody and crooked referee Shay Purser.

Despite the best efforts of his friends David Starr and Chuck Mambo, to bring Jack back to his senses, bullying at the hands of leader ‘The King of Strong and Stable Style’ Spike Trivet, Chris Ridgeway and Damon Moser had sent Sexsmith on a downward spiral and led to an apparent exodus from RIPTIDE.

However, his shocking return in the final of the Brighton Championship Tournament saw to it that his rivals would not lay claim to the coveted prize either.

After winning the 30-person RIPTIDE Rumble 2019, Jack was challenged to defend his Brighton Championship opportunity by his arch rival Spike Trivet. Despite accepting the challenge, Jack was shockingly forced to retire before the showdown ever took place due to a long-term knee injury.

While his run was cut devastatingly short, Sexsmith will always hold the honour of being referred to as ‘the heart and soul of RIPTIDE’.
